“Smokers are liable to die young”. This statement has always marked most adverts we see about the traditional cigarette.  Now, with the invention of the e cigarette, there are many issues arising from its usage.  Many wonder whether the stuff is safe while others think the same safety issues seen in the traditional cigarettes also applies to the electronic type.  In any case, let’s examine the issue of safety on electronic cigarette in a detailed manner.

  • The making of the e cigarette

E cigarette just like the normal cigarette is made of various chemical addictives.  The only thing is that, the electronic device is more sophisticated than the normal cigarette out there.  It also shares some likeness with the traditional cigarette; hence, the issue of safety we notice in the traditional cigarette also applies to the electronic version.

  • E cigarette  is never safe totally

It’s a grave error to think that e cigarette is totally safe. The product still comes with nicotine elements in its cartridges which also pose great danger to health.  There are also other chemical addictives used in producing the product. Such addictives can lead to cardiac diseases, respiratory failure, carcinogenic effects and other conditions.

  • E  Cigarette  is not meant for  all

The fact that e cigarette is never meant for all is a pointer that the product is not safe in it’s entirely. Pregnant women, breast feeding women, teenagers and kids are not encouraged to use the product. This is because of the grave dangers it poses to health.  This clearly shows that the product is never safe as most heavy smokers people think.

The Bottom Line

Electronic cigarette is only a safer option when compared with the traditional cigarette.  It comes with lesser nicotine content. It’s also more hygienic than the traditional type.  The product is only a better option for heavy smokers. It’s never safe in all ramifications as many heavy smokers claim. You may s well end up dying young when you continue to use e cigarette without control.
